My research interest lies at the intersections of social, political, legal, and economic history, from the 18th century to the present. I am particularly interested in inheritance, property, and family, and how these are intertwined in various contexts. Currently, I am leading three parallel research projects on entails, inheritance, and property distribution within the Swedish nobility, from the 17th century to the present. I also coordinate the Nordic Heritage Network (DNA), a multidisciplinary Nordic research collaboration. Starting in 2025, I will lead the three-year research project Genealogies of Old Wealth (GLOW), funded by the Swedish Research Council. The project examines wealth and inheritance within Sweden's economic elite between 1850 and 1950.
Previously, I have conducted research on themes as agrarian history and family history, presented in the two monographs (in Swedish) with focus on family farms 1845-1945 and sibling households from 1870 to the present.
In the Research Portal you can search and find information about all active researchers, units, publications, projects, infrastructures, and more, to get an overview of Lund University research.
